A Watery Dance

The light cut through the water, creating shadows and reflections on the pool floor. The bottom of the pool-floor-canvas looked like the soundwaves on a GarageBand screen, secret music playing for no one to hear. The waves morphed into crossing and connecting lines, like arteries and veins, pumping life's warm red blood. And sometimes the peaceful, dancing patterns were disrupted by abrupt circles. Water flying from my fingertips, splashing down into the water, creating ripples like a small stone thrown into a glassy lake. A bit of the world's modern art, painted and dancing on a pool bottom.
